Mining Photographer | Underground Mine Refuge Chambers

Just for the record, this is by far one of my favorite types of photography. I absolutely love being underground, it’s like an entirely different world. As an added bonus, no one has cell phone service. 🙂 Underground mining photography is a very specialized genre, and I’ve had the opportunity to photograph in zinc, coal, nickel, and copper mines.

Last week I traveled to Eagle Mine located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to photograph some very cool products for the folks at MineARC. They produce a large variety of products for the mining industry, most notably their line of rescue chambers, which are self contained units where miners can safely shelter in the event of an emergency.

the best my explanation and prices here.is passion fruit guava rolex provides for us the idea of available free time.

It was the first time I have been in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and I was fascinated by the geography and history. Plus, I got to see snow in May! Here’s a few of my favorite images.
