Earlier this month I made what has become an annual (6th I think) trip to the lovely Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, VA to photograph their basketball team for Maxprep’s Preseason Top 25. I LOVE this place, the staff, the mountains, the school, the AMAZING athletes, heck I even like the drive. 🙂
In case you did not know, Oak Hill Academy has consistently been one of (if not the) top high school basketball programs in the country. I’ve quit trying to keep track of how many national championships they have won. Coach Steve Smith has been there for 33 years and has sent A LOT of players into college programs and the NBA. The place is like walking into history or something when you consider all of the top talent that has played ball there. Point guard Cole Anthony is one of (if not the) the highest rated players in the country.
